Cold Drawn Welded Tubes (CDW)

Surface Treatment Process

Process of removal of Scale from the tubes and then coating of lubrication layer in order to avoid metal to metal contact while cold drawing process.

Swaging

The process of reduction is on one side of the tube in order to insert the correct size of the die.

Cold Drawing

Process of pulling of pipe from die and plug in order to manufacture precise dimension of the tube. This process is carried out by using cold draw bench.

Heat Treatment

Annealing is a heat treatment process used to modify the microstructure of a metal to improve its ductility while reducing internal stress and overall hardness. This allows the material to be more easily shaped without cracking. This process is particularly useful for steels, which can be too hard or brittle for forming processes.

Straightening

The process of forming straightness and maintain roundness in tubes by passing through machine rollers.

Cutting

Process of cutting tubes in desired length as per customer specific requirement.

Eddy Current Testing

Process of detecting cracks/flaws and surface defects present on tube surface.

Oiling

Process of applying rust preventive oil on tube surface for better protection from rust and increased longevity of tubes.

Final Inspection

Process of final visual and dimensional inspection as per customer-given standards by using best-in-class instruments.

Packing

Process of packing for avoiding damage of final product in transit.
